News Corp.
On arrival to Hobart, Team News Corp donated the $10,000
from the Citroen Dash for Cash, after being first Volvo
60 out the heads, to the NSW Bushfire Appeal.

Volvo 60's SEB (Sweden), the all women crewed Amer Sports
Too (Italy) and Amer Sports One (Italy), working their
way up to the V60 seaward mark.

on its way towards the heads and the Tasman Sea after rounding

Tyco
close behind, rounds the seaward mark Hobart. Despite being among
the leaders to arrive at Hobart, Tyco was disqualified
for failing to comply with rule 43, requiring all competitors
to contact Race Control before entering Bass Strait. At the time
of writing, this only had affected the boat's position in the
Sydney to Hobart and not the Volvo leg of the Round The World
Yacht Race. However, the skipper of Team News Corp had
noted an intention to submit a protest for the Volvo leg.

Grundig,
Hollywood Boulevard and SAP Ausmaid working up their
seaward mark. With the Hobart fleet starting 200 metres behind
the Volvo 60's in a 2 line start, compensation was achieved with
separate seaward marks for each fleet.
