I have never taken photos at a car race tack before and as expected, it was quite different from shooting boats, but really enjoyed it. Lighting on that day was challenging with heavy dark clouds overhead all day, but I'm happy with the results. Starting with a small batch that I have had time to process, there are many more to come later.
Located near Goulburn in New South Wales Australia (between Sydney and Canberra), Wakefield Park is open every weekend and most weekdays throughout the year. Access is by Braidwood Road, around 10km from Goulburn. The track is open to the public providing three circuits licensed by the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation, CAMS, Motorcycling NSW Inc and Australian Karting Association Inc. The track operates under a Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) National Circuit Licence, Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA) and also under the Department of Sport and Recreation permit scheme.
