About the Rolex Ilhabela Sailing Week 2011.

The beautiful island of Ilhabela provided a stunning setting and a variety of great challenging conditions for the Rolex Ilhabela Sailing Week. The event, which had its first edition in 1973, has been a tradition for Brazilian sailors throughout the years and its unique blend of island-style hospitality, competition and camaraderie has been attracting sailors from all over the world for every new edition. The steady trade winds produce great sailing conditions and offer a testing variety of both offshore and inshore handicap racing. (Rolex Media).
