Both myself and Andy Zakeli from the Illawarra Mercury were really pushing technical boundries to the limits to get these shots. The sun had long set over the Illawarra Escarpment, it was overcast and both of us had to contend with distance. One of Andy's shots was good enough to span across the top of Page 4 of Saturday's print edition (July 15, 2006) while a selection of my shots are shown above. As for print quality? May be possible to obtain an A4 but it will most likely be very grainy!
