| About the America’s
Cup World Series - Plymouth. |
|
|
During the first week of August 2011,
the inaugural America’s Cup World Series was held in
the port city of Cascais, Portugal, a location world-famous
for its spectacular sailing conditions. This first of
five regattas was the also the first time the AC45 wing-sailed
catamarans' raced in competition. The second regatta
at Plymouth in the United Kingdom is the subject of
this photographic assignment by Morris Adand. The remaining
three regattas will be played out in San Diego USA (November
12-20, 2011), Venice Italy (May 12-20, 2012) and finally
in Newport Rhode Island USA (June 23 to July 1, 2010). |
