AAPT not far behind the leaders in
4th position around the second mark. Very close behind (as it
had with the previous mark) was Skandia who had quickly got ahead
of AAPT, just after the first mark. However, AAPT
had regained lost ground to Skandia at the second mark.

On the helm of AAPT at
the second mark was Alpha Romeo's owner-skipper, Neville
Crichton, line honours winner of the 2002 Rolex Sydney Hobart.
Neville is also the owner-skipper of the Farr 40, Team Shockwave
which is a participant in the 2004 Rolex Trophy One Design Series.

Unable to ship Alpha Romeo
back to Australia in time for this year's Rolex Sydney to Hobart,
Neville looks content taking Langman's IRC 66 for a spin towards
Bradleys Head. For what was a rough finish in the Mediterranean
for Neville and Alpha Romeo's crew at the recent Rolex
Middle Sea Race, check out: www.rolexmiddlesearace.com
