It was almost dark when these
shots were taken from Shark Point at Coledale, on the New
South Wales Illawarra Coast, Australia. The swell seen in
these shots came as a result of an East Coast Low (an intense
low pressure weather system that regularly form over the
Tasman Sea during the winter months), that had battered many
towns along the far South Coast the day before.
Because it was so late in the day to the point that it was
almost dark, the camera was pushed to the limit and as a
result, many of the shots are quite grainy. But they still
show the colours, the action and the mood so please enjoy
them for what they are.
