A November heat-busting storm

One of the highlights of living in the southeast corner of Australia during the warmer months are the late afternoon thunderstorms that bring instant relief after a really hot day. These storms tend to vary in intensity, as with the amount of rain they leave behind.
As the storm pictured here drifted over the Australia's Great Dividing Range towards the Tasman Sea, it brought with it a spectactular light show and dumped a ton of rain in one heavy downpour. With the prospect of another long hot summer, the rain we received was indeed, quite welcome.
